Where's the Love for a soldier ?

In the middle of the night when things on our minds aren't quite flowing right

but the time is still ticking...

Steady on the clock as it changes in time zones moving us further away from home

each year...Christmas and New year's alone this year.....but we SIGNED for this ? {nah}

Orders thrown around like eviction notices in e-mail accounts giving you 30 days leave

before you move the hell out and that’s not enough time to relocate .... barely enough

time to re-visit a home state! let alone spend time with family... So

Where's the Love for a Soldier ?

Whose Human first, someone's child second, a parent third and government property last.

They sometimes forget we can do more than just blast....{Boom} a weapon at their target of choice,

and are able to do more than just take the commands from their voice! and

We know it was our choice to hand over our freedom of time and hush up all rights to really speak

our mind without getting written up all the time or smoked...but we SIGNED for this ? {nah}

We didn't SIGN to be neglected or to have the hard work we do go undetected by some redneck Uncle Sam I don't give a damn to waste four years of our lives.... most of SIGNED to support husband's and wives while the rest were lied to by recruiters to risk their lives for the sake of a
