Where I Come From

I come from a poetic bloodline waiting to find the right approach for any outburst of emotion or topic..

I come from a background of tall black men who would throw Basketballs in my hands at the age of four, forcing me to explore a sport that I knew nothing about but grown to love..

I come from a generation of strong Black Women who always made the struggle of chasing after dreams you believe in worth it..

I come from a family of " Smokers" who always encouraged me not too..

I come from a Dominican father who I call " Joshua " that would only come around with money when he felt was convenient to the situation..

I come from the STRUGGLE of good and bad decisions that can't be taken back but only learned from..


I come from a place where Loving Women and being Lesbian is looked upon as RIGHT in my perspective..

I come from tough love that taught me how to deal with situations in relationships accordingly and professionally.. (Behind closed doors)

I come from a place where patience and tolerance for ignorance is bliss but only rubs off on the weak minded..

I come from a strong Baptist Christian believing " There is no greater love than God " type family..
